She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Steury; and her siblings, Connie Akers and Ernest Lunsford, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, David Steury of Middletown, MD, Keith Steury of Arlington, VA and Susan Steury of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, Bobby Lunsford and Kitti Byers; and her grandchildren, Ben, Stella and Ada Steury.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Broad Run Baptist Church.
