She was predeceased by: her daughter Barbara Ann Jackson; and her brother Rev. William H. Jackson. She is survived by: her husband John Paul Carter, III of Warrenton, VA; her sons, Samuel N. Jackson of Warrenton, VA, John E. Jackson of Warrenton, VA, Mark A. Jackson (Valerie) of Warrenton, VA and Perry L. Jackson (Dollie) of Culpeper, VA; and her stepdaughters, Paula J. Jackson of Warrenton, VA and Lisa J. Sutton of Chesterfield, MI. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Springs Baptist Church (9307 Springs Rd, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Bright View Cemetery (8265 Lunsford Rd, Warrenton, VA 20186).
