With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Howard Greene of Warrenton, Virginia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 7, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lovelace Greene; his children, Anne Michael Greene (Eric), Marcus Greene (Stephanie) and Judy Alvarez (Chris); and his grandchildren, Jason, Zach Alvarez, Makayla and Sierra Greene.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Marshall United Methodist Church (8405 W Main St, Marshall, VA 20115).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Trinity Hospice of Warrenton, Virginia and the Marshall United Methodist Church.
