She was predeceased by : her husband Hugh Legard Sanford, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Gwendolyn Lisa Sanford of Greenbelt, MD, Regina Sanford of Adelphia, MD, Ronnie Sanford (Vickie) of Michellville, MD and Tyrone Sanford of Aldephia, MD; and her sisters, Doris Young of Hyattsville, MD, Evelyn Newman of Arlington, VA, Geraldine Tanks of Washington, DC and Helena Samuel of Manassas, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
