He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Orman I and Helen Patricia "Pat" Bayliff; and his brothers, Calvin II and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Alysia; his children, Sarah, Richard Jr., Nicole and Zackery; and his siblings, Claudia, Patricia "Penny", Leslie and Gregory.
In lieu of flowers (plants preferred), donations can be made to the Dare County Sheriff's 2025 Summer Camp S.A.L.T. in his honor for helping at risk youth.
