He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Bohon and Anna Ferguson Bohon; his daughter Denise Lee Bohon McAllister; and his great grandchild Dixie Raye Kader. He is survived by: his wife Valendia Ebhardt Bohon; and his children, Ronald Lee Bohon (Beth), Roger Lynn Bohon (Elsie) and Cheryle Renaye Schaeffer (JR). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Christian Fellowship Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
