He is survived by: his wife Suzy Lillard; his stepchildren, Steve Wood and Paula Wood; his siblings, Bonnie Cameron, Jenny Presgraves and Chris Lillard; and his close friend Anna. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Middleburg Animal Shelter in his name.
