He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Elizabeth Armstrong (Liz); his children, Babette (John Rice), Sheri, June Padgett (Charlie) and Huntley (Amy); his grandchildren, Charlie Padgett, III (Jocelyn), Ben Padgett, Rebecca White (Rusty Hart) and Angela Kemp (Chris); his great grandchild Owen; and his grandson Quentin D. Thorpe.
