She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Holden (Gini) and Herbert Holden Jr.; and her brother Peter Holden. She is survived by: her husband Dean Johnston; her children, Jessica Moore of Oregon, Nicholas Moore, Lexi Johnston of Warrenton and Sam Stark; her siblings, Nancie Cooper and Michael Holden; her siblings' children, Cortney Boston, Mikala Cooper, Jennifer Diggles, Breck Holden and Christian Holden; and her children, Percy and Templeton Pitts of Michigan. She is also survived by seven step children, 16 step grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Moser Funeral Home (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186).
