It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty June Smith (Warsaw, Virginia), born in Platte City, Missouri, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John T. Smith; her parents, Freda Winston and John Winston; and her siblings, Marie Landers and Jack Winston.

She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Foster; her children, Cheryl Smith, Randy Smith (Sharon Baldacci) and Don Smith (Gloria); her grandchildren, Patrick Smith, Blake Smith, Scarlett Sanborn, Olivia Smith, Winston Smith and Mason Smith; and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Seely Sanborn.
