She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Lester Wainwright Sanders; her husband John Alfred "Dickie" Brooks, Jr.; her daughters, Hollie Lewis (John) and Jennie Beck (Jerry Sills); her grandchildren, Chandler Jett, Maddie Jett, Ethan Beck and Ava Beck; her sister-in-law Charlotte Watson; her caregivers, Megan and Brittany; her mother Dorothy; her stepmother Frances E. Sanders; and her pet Rosco. She was also cherished by Grammy to her four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you honor Connie's lifelong love of and commitment to Cobham Park Church by making a donation in her loving memory to Cobham Park, writing either "Flower Committee" or "W.M.U." in the check's memo line.
