He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Garner, Sr. and Chloe Louise Rowe Garner. He is survived by: his son Herbert "Jay" Garner, III (Anne); his stepson Thomas "Tom" Lee Towles (Brenda); his granddaughters, Chloe and Mary Frances; his stepgrandson Rusty; and his former wife Beulah Garner. He is also survived by many other friends, neighbors and his church family.
