She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor "Harry" Butler and Arnita Mae Harwick Butler; and her husband Herman Lee "Pete" Brown. She is survived by: her son Marshall Lee Brown; her grandsons, Jordan Brown (Kimberly) and Austin Brown (Heather); her great grandchildren, Kaylyn, Lydia, Brooks and Cole; and her siblings, Ralph Butler, Albert Butler, Hannah Harper and Virginia Bowman.
