We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 76, William Light Sr. (Warsaw, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Welch Funeral Home- Marks Chapel (10300 Richmond Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakland United Methodist Church (3223 Oakland Rd, Farnham, VA 22460). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Farnham Baptist Church Cemetery (4632 Farnham Creek Rd, Farnham, VA 22460).
