She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolas Gouerec and Marie Gouerec (Georges); her stepmother Madeleine Gouerec (Habran); and her siblings, Beatrice Couesnon (Jean-Jacques), Bernard Gouerec and Nicolas Gouerec (Renee).

She is survived by: her husband Guy Melou (France); her son Gregory (France); her daughter-in-law Mary; her granddaughter Sophie; her siblings, Nicole Auger (Guy), Monique Chemin (Jean-Pierre), Gérard Gouerec (Charlette), Michel Gouerec (Jocelyn), Odette Gouerec and Marie-France Laherrère (Elie); and her sister-in-law Anne Stahl (Patrick). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
