It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Graham Carr of Waverly, Virginia, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carr and Ruth Carr; his wife Carolyn Herring Carr; his brothers, J. C. Carr, Jr. and James Carr; his daughter-in-law Ruth Babb Carr; and his grandson Justin Carr.
He is survived by: his sons, Keith Carr of Waverly and Brian Carr (Pam) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Tiffany Hettinger, Krystina Carr and Phoebe Carr; and his great grandchildren, Gabrial and Gavin Hettinger.
