She was predeceased by : her parents, Willard W. Lane, Sr. and Bernice Jones Lane; and her brother Billy Harris Lane. She is survived by : her children, Renee Shafer of Surry and Kenneth "Kenny" Starke, Jr. of Mechanicsville; her siblings, Willard "Bobby" Lane, Jr. (Jackie) of Petersburg and Molly Lane Rickmond (Ray) of Surry; her grandchildren, Lindsay Harrup (Josh) of Ivor, Robert "Robbie" Shafer (Tiffany) of Ivor, Randy Shafer of Elberon, Kaitlyn and Kasey Strake of Mechanicsville; and her great grandchildren, Dayton Harrup, Shane Shafer and Taylor Shafer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
