With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Marie Layne of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her mother Pauline Frances Price; her grandparents, Paul S. and Annie Shifflett; her stepfather Stanley G. Price; her husband Donald Eugene Layne, Sr.; and her son Donald Eugene Layne, Jr..
She is survived by : her siblings, Betty Johnson (Ronald) and Wayne Price (Gaitha); and her cousin Patricia Frazier (Annie). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Gospel Light Baptist Church (860 Maryland Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Annie's church, Gospel Light Baptist Church.
