He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henderson and Lottie Kirby Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Marlaine Henderson; his sons, Brooks Henderson (Reilly) and Patrick Henderson (Ashby); his sister-in-law Lori Mitchell; his nieces and nephews, Casey Ford (Linus), Allison Chretien (Steven) and Tori Critzer; his granddaughter Raelynn Shiflett; and his aunt Charlyne Critzer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the general fund at First Baptist Church, 301 S Wayne Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
