We are sad to announce that, on November 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Charles LaVon Dovel of Waynesboro, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Paul Dovel and Frances Spitler Dovel of Stanley, Virginia.; his son Jeffery Allen Dovel; and his niece Sherry Duncan. He is survived by: his significant other Betty Alger Dovel; his son Craig LaVon Dovel (Glenna); his grandsons, Derek Scott Dovel (Alexis), Christopher Jay Dovel (Amber) and Clinton Levi Dovel; his great grandchildren, Marley Dovel and Isla Dovel; and his sister Nancy Lee Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a donation to Bridge Christian Church in Fishersville, Virginia, where Charles was a member; or a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association.
