He is survived by: his significant other Deborah O. Brooks; his children, Destry Lee Brooks (Bethany), Dana Brooks, Erika Smith (Bryan) and Erin Wakefield (Jake); his mother-in-law Frances Elaine Willis; his grandchildren, Jacob Lee Wakefield and Airelle Bartlett; and his close friends, Gene Abshire and Jake Wakefield. He is also survived by two granddaughters; one step-granddaughter; one great grandson.
