She was predeceased by: her parents, Renis Dinkle and Lucy Naomi Cook (Sandy); her husband Brownlee Pittman; and her siblings, Donald Cook, Howard Cook, Caroline Cook and Frances Love.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Pittman (Mitzi), Danetta Hartman (Jimmy) and Donna Benson (Matt); her grandchildren, Megan, Ryan Pittman, Holly Gray (Justin), Heather Johnson, Rachel Benson (Taylor) and Melanie Benson; and her great grandchildren, Malakai, Silas Johnson, Cora Jean and Brady Gray. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions, in her honor, to Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church, 688 Highland Ave., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
