It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fay Coffey of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Austin and Eunice Smith (Anderson); and her brother Sonny Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Coffey; her children, Travis Coffey (Debra) and Shon Coffey; her brother James Smith; her grandchildren, Jerry Gillenwater, Sarah Chambers (Drake), Troy Coffey and Devon Coffey (Delia); and her great grandchild Nate Gillenwater.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Women on Mission Fund of Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church 901 Shenandoah Ave., Waynesboro, Va. 22980.
