Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Florence Virginia Morris of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 80, on May 2, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Monroe Morris and Retha Ellen Herring; her husband Earl Morris; her son Danny Morris; and her brother Curtis Morris.
She is survived by: her stepfather James G. Herring; her daughters, Cheryl Render (Drew Render) and Jennifer Long; her grandchildren, Kenneth Parkhurst (Taylor Parkhurst), Joshua Parkhurst (Megan Parkhurst), Danielle Parkhurst, Austin Long (Katie Long) and Hannah Morris; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Lewis, Madelyn, Mackenzie and Kaiden; and her siblings, Geneva Shifflett, Maxine Bolyard and Ernest Morris. She is also survived by many brother and sister inlaws, nieces, and nephews.
As such, in place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Virginia's honor to Appalachian Christian School, where three of her grandchildren attended.
