She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeter Hamilton Anderson and Edith Critzer Anderson; her husband George Wilbur Fox, Sr.; her sister Nettie Jane Anderson Hamric; her niece Jane Fontaine Anderson Simmons; her brother Dr. James Anderson; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Anderson.
She is survived by: her son George W. Fox, Jr. (Susan) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Stephen Fox (Linda) of Los Angeles, Mason Fox (Taylor) of Richmond and Allison Fox Scarborough (Benjamin) of Richmond; and her great grandchildren, Reece Brown, Henley Fox, Emerson Scarborough and Maverick Fox.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (301 S Wayne Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
