With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Lee Gibson Sr. of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Edward and Addie Marie Gibson (Morris); his son Anthony "Tony" Gibson; and his brothers, Tracy and Clarence "Dickie" Gibson.

He is survived by : his children, G. Lee Gibson, Jr. (Wanda), Tom Gibson (Sharon), Mark Gibson and Angela Combs (Nick); and his brother Tyler Gibson (Linda). He is also survived by five grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
