She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Meek and Robert M. Meek; her husband Emmett "Sonny" Kerby Jr.; and her son-in-law Tim A. Meadows. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Deaver (Robert) of Waynesboro and Katrina Meadows (Mike Ramsey) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Stephanie Craun (Jamie), Josh Deaver (Lindsay), Tim Meadows Jr. and Amanda Meadows; and her siblings, Robert Meek (Rita), Ronald Meek (Laura), William Meek (Leslie) and Emily Ryder (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
