He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee, Sr. and Florence Grace Moss Johnson; and his brothers, David Lee, Jr., Robert Lee, Samuel Henry, John Edgar, Willie Mack and James Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Tommie Sue Woodward Johnson; his children, Gregory Alan Johnson (Haley Riggins) and Erica Nicole Johnson; his brother Isaiah Johnson (Donna); and his sister-in-law Clara Mae. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; cousins; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
