She was predeceased by: her husband Stevens Hughes, Jr.; and her son Robin Allen Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Karen Hughes (Pat), Scott Hughes (Peggy), Cindy Hughes Candler (Mike) and Chase Hughes (Cathy). She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
