He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy William Ball and Annie Marie Ball (Blazer) of Asheville, NC.; his sister Doris Templeton (Capps); his brothers-in-law, Don Capps and Jerry Southerland; his close friend Carl Stinnett; and his stepdaughter Terri Lynn Jenkins (Pickett).
He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Elizabeth Ball (Lacy); his stepson James Timothy (Tim) Pickett (Dianna Pickett); his stepson-in-law Robert Jenkins (Bob); his daughters, Melissa Dawn Dinges (Ball), Valerie Renee Ball (Chad Wilfong) and Vanessa Ann Morris (Ball); his grandchildren, Tiffany Jenkins, Danielle Elizabeth Pickett, Robert Lacy Wilbur (Kim Wilbur), Aaron Timothy Pickett, Amy Lambert Jenkins, Heather Christann Morris, Brandon Christopher Morris, Gregory Bartlett (Elizabeth Bartlett), Lillian Grace (Wilfong) and Nathaniel Evans Wilfong; his great grandchildren, Christopher James Preston Sanzone, Emily Grace Trippeer, Cassidy Trippeer, Madison Trippeer, Mason Lewis Wilbur, Hailey Lynn Wilbur, Haden Miles Wilbur, Greer Bartlett, Ensley Bartlett, Leia Ruth Biggs, Emmett Wayne Allhiser and Ella Rose Biggs; and his sisters, Sandra (Ball), Lee (Matt Lee) of Wilmington and Brenda Southerland (Ball) of Tooele. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
