Jo Ann West Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Ann West of Waynesboro, Virginia, born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Sullivan West and John Edward West; and her brother Johnny West. She is survived by: her brothers, Terrence Flynn West and Kissimmee; her impressive Rummikub; her siblings, Terry West (Nanette) and David West (Marlene); her children, Scott Goldman (Lisa) and Julie Caran (Kevin); her grandchildren, Robyn, Sadie, Max Goldman, Abinet and Colette Caran; and her nieces and nephews, John West (Kristine), Charmaine Otto (Michael), James West (Ashley) and Katherine Masters (Drew). She is also survived by her family, her loyalty to her close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Main Street United Methodist Church (601 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
In lieu of flowers, Jo Ann asked that donations be made to Smile Train and St. Jude's.
