He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Potter and Edna Lee Potter; and his son Anthony Potter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Potter (Fisher) of Stuarts Draft; his sister Jo Carole Potter of Staunton; his children, Tammy McGurn (Don) of Staunton, Kimberly Griffith (Jeff) of Stuarts Draft and Michael Potter (Laura) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Meagan Wilson of Roanoke, Brittani Showers (Marty) of Stuarts Draft, D. W. Spears of Waynesboro, Allison Cale (Tyler) of Grottoes and John Michael Potter of Grottoes; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Melody. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
