She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alpha Hall and Myrtle Lilly Hall; and her husband Harley Burton Mathes. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Loving and Jane Hall; her siblings, Jennings Hall, Wilma Green (Pastor Eddie Green), Sue Cogar (Roger), Doy Hall and Denver Hall (Debbie); her grandchildren, Brandon Mathes, Brittany Pullin, Shavonne Wardwell, Brenda Dempsey and Brian Hall; and her great grandchildren, Liam Mathes, Lillian Mathes, Levi Pullin, Wyatt Pullin, Gabe Pullin, Ramona Wardwell and Vivian Wardwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
