He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Andrew Layman and Dorothy Virginia Layman (Garland); his brother Donald Lee Layman; and his wife Joyce Anne Layman (Bartley). He is survived by: his daughters, Kendra Layman Grabowski (Mike) and Wendy Layman Oliver (Troy); his granddaughters, Bryn, Colbie and Laiken; his brother Charles Layman (Nancy) of Grottoes; and his close friend Olga Russell.
