She was predeceased by: her parents, Moffett M. Potter and Mary Susan Welcher Potter; and her husband Paul G. Ward. She is survived by: her son Paul G. Ward, Jr. (PG); her daughter-in-law Kathie; her grandson Steven Paul; her great grandchildren, Emily and Caroline; her grandson Brent Corbin (Kathleen); her great grandchildren, MacIntyre and Korrigan; and her niece Barbie "Bobbie" Gilbert (Greg).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the First Baptist Church to support their youth ministry or to the Shenandoah Hospice House.
