He is survived by: his wife Karen Geil (Virginia) of Harrisonburg; his stepdaughter Katie Cavey; and his stepgranddaughters, Charlotte and Olivia Cavey of Harrisonburg, Virginia.. He is also survived by his wife, daughter, and granddaughters.
