She was predeceased by: her son Kenton Lee Mackey; her siblings, Anna Belle Wilson, Emma Lou Wilson and Roy "Buzz" Mackey; and her parents, Howard Mackey and Margaret Mackey.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Oliver; her daughter-in-law Mari Mackey; her children, Chris (Kelly Oliver) and Sara (Kevin Lyster); her grandchildren, Lindsay Mackey, Clair Oliver, Morgan Oliver, William Oliver, Zachary Lyster and Ceclia Lyster; her great-niece Jillian Marshall; her brother-in-law Bill Wilson; and her sibling's children, Karen Wilson Marshall (Tom), Clarence Wilson (Stephanie) and Howard Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery (6410 Lee Jackson Hwy, Steeles Tavern, VA 24476).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her name to Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, 1001 Mt Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, VA, 22952 or to the SPCA of your choice.
