She was predeceased by: her parents, Schuyler L. Blackwell and Dianna C. Blackwell of Crimora, Virginia.; her husband Frank Kirksey; the father of her children Stuart Weaver Sr.; her siblings, Harvey A. Blackwell, Albert J. Blackwell and June B. Shifflett; her son Kevin A. Weaver; and her stepson Butch Kirksey.
She is survived by: her sister Lettie Stickley; her children, Stuart Jr. (Kris) and Cynthia Weaver (Doug Nikstaitis); her grandchildren, Stephen (Candy), Jeffery, Austin (Raffa), Kullen (Kelly), Gracie and Chloe; and her great grandchildren, Calvin, Emma, Emmalyn, Adalyn, Noah and Schuyler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDow Funeral Home & Crematory (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry, P.O. Box 307, Grottoes, Virginia 24441.
