It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Roberson of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Helen C. Roberson; his wife Marilyn Gail Roberson (Fitzgerald); his mother-in-law Maggie M. Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Donnie Roberson, Judy C. Hull and Debbie Curry.
He is survived by: his children, Greg "Rocketman" Roberson (Wendy), Misti Roberson-Goolsby (Tracy) and Ashley Lucas (Brandon); his grandchildren, Josh Roberson (Kayla), Jonathan Engleman (Kasey), Logan Roberson (Britney), Riley Goolsby and Owen Lucas; his great grandchildren, Pierce Roberson, Presley and Rynlee Engleman; his brother Jimmy Roberson (Linda K.); his siblings-in-law, Wayne Hull, Howard Curry and Linda F. Roberson; and his close friends, Scott, Teresa Childress and Robert Maybush. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
