She was predeceased by: her father Thomas W. Hoy of Waynesboro; her husband Frank Humphreys; her sister Melinda Ann Fitzgerald; and her grandparents, Jim, Stella Serba, Otho and Ruth Hoy.

She is survived by: her mother Mary Ann Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; her stepfather Glenn Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; her children, David Foster II (Megan) of Hot Springs, Shawn Foster (Madison) of Grottoes and Kelsee Hoy (Jacob) of Crozet; her siblings, Christina Wilson (Randy) of Galax and Tommy Hoy (Brandi) of Stuarts Draft; her grandchildren, Zachariah Foster, Levi Foster and Andrew Foster; her nieces and nephews, Tyler Hoy, Brandon Hoy, Cheyenne Staples, Ricky Wilson and Ashley Wilson; her close friend Carol Cunningham; her aunt Peggy Brown; her uncle Jim Serba (Dodie); and her cousin Darin.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions, in her honor, to a cancer research organization of your choice.
