Wanda Johnson Sweet Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Johnson Sweet of Waynesboro, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland and Lillie Ellen Johnson (Landrum); and her sister-in-law Beverly Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Cristi Abshire (Cory) of Waynesboro and Megan Demastus (Christopher) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Kaylin Brooke Arroyo (Josh), Lilly Brooke Demastus, Caden Ella Demastus, Ash Sweet "Pendy" Demastus and Avery Page Abshire; her great grandchildren, Ryker Wayne Arroyo and Kolter Dean Arroyo; and her brothers, Grover C. D. Johnson (Margaret Davis) of Waynesboro and Glenn James Johnson of Waynesboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
