He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and May Aline Sprouse (Morris); his wife Kitty Faye Sprouse (Zimmerman); and his siblings, Agnes Bowman, Connie Pleasants, Irene Shifflett, Bobby Sprouse and Billy Sprouse.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Sprouse (Tiffany) and Rhonda Whitmer (Paul) of Waynesboro; his brother Warren Sprouse (Mary); his grandchildren, Connor Jarvis (Emily), Camden Jarvis (Ly), Cadlee Jarvis and Maddie Sprouse; his close friends, Millie Cason, Sandy and Barry Hooker; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Greene and Rita "Cookie" Greene. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
