It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Richards Jr. of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, G. William Richards, Sr. and Vallie Monger Richards of Elkton, Virginia.. He is survived by : his former life partner Barbara Quatse Richards of South Carolina; his children, Scott Richards of Staunton, Chris Richards of Fishersville and Matt Richards (Michelle) of Lynchburg; his granddaughter Laura Beth Bowles (Mark Bowles) of Staunton, Virginia.; his sisters, Linda Richards Berry (Kenneth Berry) of Grottoes, Alice Richards Simon (Jack Simon) of Ashland and Tina Richards Comer (Kenny Comer) of Crimora, Virginia; and his close friend Helen Roberts. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
