He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Owens and Margie Hamm Owens; his sister Linda Pendleton; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Owens and Danny Pendleton.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Quillen Owens; his daughters, Rachel Allen (Bobby) and Amanda Rayborn (Ben); his grandchildren, Lacie Allen and Emersyn Rayborn; and his siblings, Clara Dunham (Ricky), Mike Owens and Jackie Owens (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church (215 Montgomery Ave, Church Hill, TN 37642). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:50 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
