He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McMurray and Goldie Castle McMurray; the mother of his children Jearlene Eads McMurray; and his brothers, J. D. McMurray and Dewey McMurray.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Cheek McMurray; his children, Paula McMurray (Gail), Marty McMurray and Allen Cheek (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Whitney Hope Johnson (Keith), Tyler McMurray, Tanner McMurray and John Cheek; his great grandchildren, Hayden Black, Eathan McMurray, Olivia Johnson and Jackson Johnson; and his brother Fred McMurray (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2904 US Hwy 23 S, Weber City, VA 24290). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (2904 US Hwy 23 S, Weber City, VA 24290).
