She was predeceased by : her parents, Kelley Spears and Madeline Beatrice Spears (Hammonds); her daughter Danita Gail Tipton; and her siblings, Betty Jo Cookenour and Paul Spears.

She is survived by : her husband Edgar "Big Ed" Tipton; her sons, Mark Tipton and Matthew Tipton (Rebekah); her grandchildren, Jessie Hubbard, Cara Tipton, Chase Tipton, Jordan Byington, Gabriel Tipton and Julianne Tipton; and her great grandchildren, Leah Gagliardi, Jackson Hubbard, Taylor Hubbard, Liam Cavin, Ezzy Ward, Daylynn Ward and Amora Tipton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
