He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dupuy Redd and Estelle Chappell Redd; and his former wife Virginia DeHart Redd. He is survived by: his children, William Redd (Dee), Cheryl Melton (Steve) and Richard Redd (Julie); his grandchildren, Dr. Walker Redd (Taylor), Chappell Redd, Alex Melton, Virginia Melton and Will Redd; his great grandchildren, Davis and Brooks Redd; his wife Jane Massey Redd; his stepsons, David Walton (Lori) and Charles Walton (Lily); and his stepgrandchildren, Kai and Vlado Garcia-Lorinz.
