He is survived by : his wife Brenda Gale Smith; his children, Shane Smith (Kendall) and Monica Gonzalez (Lazaro); his grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica and Maci; his children, Walter Reed Smith, Jr. and Tammy Elliott; and his siblings, Thomas Lambrose (Linda), David Lambrose (Janice) and Carol Hitchens.
