He is survived by: his wife Nellie Miller Riddel; his children, James "J. N." Riddel, III (Sandra) of Weyers Cave and Debbie Sutton (Gene) of Waynesboro; his grandson James Norman Riddel IV; and his brother-in-law Roy Swope of Dayton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Weyers Cave Fire Department or Weyers Cave United Methodist Church.
