He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Actles Botkin and Ethel McCray Botkin; his son Jeffrey Botkin; and his brother Clarence Botkin. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Botkin (Sheila) of Staunton, Joey Botkin (Crissy) of Churchville, Dawn Botkin of Harrisonburg, Rachel Whitesel of Verona and Kassi Raynes of Bridgewater; and his grandchildren, Austin Brown, Jayden Raynes, Kaelynn, Kylee Shifflett, Greyson Brown, Colson Brown, Leland Botkin, Jacob Collins, Jody Collins, Cody, Cara and Casey Gailey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
